Job summary

CLA seeks a Senior to join our CAAS (Client Accounting & Advisory Services) group supporting the Technology Industry, based in Las Vegas NV. This role is part of a national professional services firm with a focus on delivering industry-focused wealth advisory, digital, audit, tax, consulting, and outsourcing services.

The position involves client servicing, day-to-day transaction processing, month-end close, and quarterly/annual workpapers.

Qualifications

• 2 years of accounting/financial experience required.
• Bachelor's degree required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops an understanding of client operations and manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Leads coordination of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and payroll postings.
• Coordinates and reviews month-end reconciliations and prepares financial statements; reviews general ledger and cashflow.
• Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and prepares audit workpapers and other client deliverables.
• Oversee workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts.
• Assist with internal projects such as due diligence, system selection, and other consultative work.
