Job summary

SMX seeks a Chief Command and Control (C2) Systems Integrator / Principal C2 Architect for an on-site role at MacDill AFB in SOCOM HQ. You will serve as the senior technical authority for SOF Enterprise enabling CJADC2 architecture, bridging tactical edge nodes to strategic HQ, and driving C2 modernization across multi-domain networks, data links, and cloud-native platforms.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of military C2/systems engineering experience, TS/SCI clearance, and a proven track

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain ACCM/SAP read-ins.
15+ years of specialized military ops, C2, or defense contracting experience, including senior advisor to a COCOM or sub-unified command.
Degree in a computer/engineering/IT field (or equivalent years of experience).
Experience supporting JTFs, CAOCs, JICC and SOF.
Expert knowledge of LINK 16, multi-TDL architectures, coalition interoperability, and cloud-based C2 infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Architect enterprise-level C2 frameworks integrating CJADC2 initiatives.
Advise senior leaders on technology adoption, modernization strategies, and enterprise network survivability.
Design interoperability solutions for MPE and ensure data fusion across domains.
Synchronize multi-domain data feeds into a unified COP, including autonomous assets.
Oversee integration of legacy C2 systems with cloud-native architectures.
Support orchestration of AI-driven battel management systems for SOF assets.
