Job summary

CACI International is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to provide technical leadership for large-scale DoD, IC, and federal modernization programs, spanning secure communications, enterprise IT, and satellite ground systems.

The Senior Architect will lead strategy, solution architecture, systems engineering, and technical execution across programs, collaborating with customers and engineering teams to deliver resilient, mission-focused capabilities.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI (current TS/SCI preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM discipline.
20+ years of progressive engineering, systems engineering, and solutions architecture experience.
Experience designing and architecting enterprise IT solutions for large government programs.
Experience leading systems engineering efforts across requirements, architecture, integration, testing, and transition.
Experience modernizing enterprise IT, secure networks, and legacy government systems.

Responsibilities

Lead technical strategy, architecture development, and engineering execution for large defense and national security programs.
Oversee design, modernization, deployment, and sustainment of enterprise IT, secure communications, and satellite ground systems.
Architect and integrate satellite ground and gateway solutions including GEPs, Ka-/S-Band, and optical terminals.
Provide end‑to‑end systems engineering leadership across requirements, architecture, interfaces, verification, and transition to operations.
Design secure enterprise network, data center, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure with cybersecurity and cloud migration.
Develop secure communications architectures using Zero Trust, RMF, NIST, and cross‑domain solutions.
Evaluate emerging tech to improve mission resiliency, scalability, and lifecycle cost.
Lead technical solutioning for strategic captures and proposals with BOEs and roadmaps.
Collaborate with capture, pricing, program, and engineering leadership for competitive, executable solutions.
