Job summary

Serco seeks a Tactical Command and Control (C2) Operations SME for Air Combat Command’s CAF DTC at Langley AFB, VA. The role involves facilitating distributed mission operations, role-playing ABM, AOC, and JTAC positions, and using ASCOT, CES, NGTS, and MACE to train U.S. and allied aircrews.

An active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR is required. Candidates should have a strong background in C2, ABM/AIC/WD, and experience with high-level exercises; willingness to

Qualifications

• Active DoD security clearance (Secret) with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years’ experience in command and control, or Master’s with 7 years, or PhD with 4 years of experience.
• A thorough knowledge of AFTTP 3-1 or service equivalent manuals and ALSSA Brevity/Air Control Communication.

Responsibilities

• Support daily training by scheduling, mission planning, creating mission materials, briefing, executing, and debriefing the CAF DTC’s Large Force Exercises (LFEs) and Small Team events.
• Attend CAF exercise planning conferences (e.g. RED FLAG) and sites to discuss unit training requirements and integrate them into missions.
• Provide consulting expertise to military/defense clients to develop and evaluate training and doctrine, including scenario development and after-action review.
