Job summary

IntoGREAT is seeking a Senior Engineer to join cross-disciplinary teams and deliver scalable software to users. You will mentor teammates, collaborate with the team lead and principal engineer on technical design, PoC work, and guidance.

You will develop an insurance application, review code, ensure best practices, and support security and performance improvements. The role reports to the team lead and emphasizes mentorship and quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of work experience with .NET development (C#).
• Experience with REST APIs and modern front-end frameworks (TypeScript + Vue.js, Angular or React).
• Experience writing and coaching on unit tests and integration tests.
• Strong relational database knowledge (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Familiar with Jira and Git version control systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develop an insurance application that can scale and perform well.

About the role

Senior Engineers collaborate within cross-discipline teams, and the goal is toincrementally deliver valuable software to users. Senior Engineers have a dual focuson delivering quality software solutions and enable and inspire others by humblyproviding guidance and mentorship to your team.This role will also work closely with their team lead and the principal engineer to, asrequired, complete technical design, proof of concept experiments and providetechnical assistance on relevant software applications.This role reports directly to the team lead. The primary responsibility for this role isto develop new features, maintain existing codebase, resolve system defects andhelp the development team to deliver quality code changes under the leadership ofthe team lead.

Job Responsibilities

● Develop an insurance application that can scale and perform well.

● Contribute to technical design for new functionality within the application.

● Code reviews for other team members’ work to ensure their changes meet theapplication coding standards.

● Ensure best practices are followed and the software being delivered is of highquality.

● Provide technical support and solutions on application security.

● Perform technical research on small PoC projects to reduce technical debtand improve application performance.

Qualifications

● Working experience with Rest API’s.

● Familiar with TypeScript and comfortable with Vue.js, Angular or React.

● Comfortable writing and coaching on Unit Tests, and functional integrationtests etc.

● Great communication skills both written and oral.
