Hashbang, Inc. is looking for an expert software engineer to join our game team in a role that supports in-office or remote work.

The successful candidate will translate designs into robust C# implementations using Unity, own core game features, and ensure quality through testing and collaboration with teammates. You will mentor peers, lead code reviews, and uphold engineering standards while helping plan sprint workloads and support live game operations as needed.

Qualificações

• 2+ shipped titles and 5+ years of professional programming experience.
• Proficiency with C# and Unity 2020 LTS or later.
• Ability to implement technical aspects from design documents.
• Ability to architect solutions across development stages.
• Root-cause analysis and sustainable problem solving.
• Experience evaluating code for clarity and quality.
• Outstanding English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Translate design requirements into acceptance criteria that the team can execute
• Take ownership of essential features of the game
• Reproduce issues and create test cases for QA to improve game quality and stability
• Promote engineering best practices and coding standards
• Partner with teammates to estimate task efforts and plan sprint workloads
• Provide engineering support for live game operations as needed
• Maintain and improve existing codebases
• Mentor engineers with technical guidance on approach and implementation
• Participate in code reviews and guide others on coding standards and risks
• Know and use version control such as Git, Perforce, or Plastic SCM
• Communicate effectively with teammates
