Saragossa in New York is a leading global proprietary trading firm looking to hire a senior engineer to lead a greenfield migration within the Options Technology division. You will own decisions, architecture, and outcomes, while modernising the stack for a Linux environment alongside highly talented engineers.

You will need a strong C++ background and a solid understanding of trading systems (EMS/OMS, concurrency, low latency).

Qualifications

You will need a strong C++ background and a solid grounding in understanding the nitty-gritty of a trading system - examples include execution technology (EMS/OMS), concurrency, low latency optimisation or market data.

Naturally, your background will be within financial services.

You know how to lead technically and you are comfortable running autonomously without needing a lot of hand-holding. You make good decisions independently and you move quickly when you need to.
