Job summary

Cyngn is seeking a Robotics and System Integration Engineer to develop and integrate autonomous vehicle systems across our fleet. You will work on mission-critical software components, system optimization, and hardware integration in industrial environments.

You will design robust robotics software using C++ and ROS/ROS2, optimize real-time sensor processing, manage CAN communications and firmware updates, and configure containers for vehicle components.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust robotics software using C++ and ROS/ROS2 framework.
• Develop and maintain core system components including state management, health monitoring, and diagnostics.
• Create and optimize high-performance software for processing sensor data from LiDAR and cameras.
• Implement and maintain CAN bus communications and firmware update systems.
• Configure and optimize container environments for autonomous vehicle components.
• Develop and maintain system provisioning and configuration management tools.
• Perform performance profiling and optimization across the stack.
• Create automated testing and validation frameworks for system integration.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues.
• Collaborate with perception, localization, and control teams for integrated systems.
• Optimize real-time processing of high-bandwidth sensor data.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation and procedures.
