Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Sr. Software Engineer, C++ (Simulations) to design, build, and test in-house simulation software supporting SpaceX flight systems. You will implement core simulation infrastructure and model fluids, electronics, and multi-body physics across teams.

The role drives high fidelity simulations for Falcon, Dragon, Starship, and Starlink. You will develop real-time software with a focus on performance, reliability, and extensibility, collaborating with hardware and software groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/STEM with 5+ years of software development.
• C++ proficiency with real-time systems and simulations.
• Strong physics/mathematics background relevant to simulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity real-time simulation software used for all vehicles.
• Develop prototypes to prove key design concepts and quantify constraints.
