Arthrex is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to develop high-end real-time software for medical visualizations, AR/VR products, and related applications.

You will write high-quality, maintainable C++ code and collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical education and product management to deliver immersive visual experiences for surgeon education and product demonstrations. The role emphasizes realtime graphics, 3D modeling workflows, and integration of graphics pipelines within

Qualifications

• Experience in real-time graphics and XR tech.
• Strong C++, Python, and shader programming.
• Familiarity with Unity or Unreal engines.
• Understanding of 3D math and graphics pipelines.
• Experience with version control and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Continuously learn and implement new and experimental features, programming languages, and SDKs for emerging visual and XR technologies.
• Develop interactive visual applications using established patterns and technologies.
• Troubleshoot software, optimize and debug applications.
• Prototype and implement responsive user interactions in a real-time engine.
• Test and document code and features across multiple systems and applications.
• Maintain documentation for processes and configurations.
• Develop tools to automate testing.
• Integrate 3D assets into applications.
• Report progress of tasks in a timely manner.
• Develop real-time applications and UIs showcasing medical animations.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Medical Education teams.
