Intepros is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our medical technology team working on robotics and enabling software across pre-, intra-, and post-operative applications.

The role emphasizes hands-on development in C++, Qt, and Linux, implementing reusable components, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality software under SDLC processes with a focus on reliability and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience developing applications in C++.
• Experience with the Qt framework.
• Professional experience developing in a Linux environment.
• Experience with Python scripting and automation.
• Working knowledge of SQL and SQLite.
• Experience designing and managing data models, schemas, and database architecture.
• Familiarity with data serialization formats such as JSON.
• Experience using version control systems (Git or similar).
• Knowledge of CI/CD development practices.
• Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain shared software components using C++ and Qt in a Linux environment.
• Build reusable data management components that integrate across multiple clinical software applications.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including: Code reviews, documentation, integration, unit testing, defect resolution, code analysis.
• Ensure software components meet functional requirements, design specifications, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, remove blockers, and deliver project milestones.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and progress updates.
• Present project updates and milestone achievements as needed.
