Job summary

System One is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for an onsite contract in Weston, FL. The ideal candidate will have a degree with 2+ years of experience, strong C++ and Qt skills in a Linux environment, and experience with IDEs and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities include developing source code for biomechanics and planning components, participating in the full SDLC, and ensuring software meets specifications. Familiarity with 3D geometry or surgical planning systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree with 2+ years of experience in software development.
• Solid background with C++ and Qt in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency with IDEs and build systems; can work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with revision control and CI/CD development practices.
• Familiarity with unit testing as part of the development workflow.

Responsibilities

• Develop source code for biomechanics and planning components integrated into clinical applications.
• Participate in SDLC activities: code reviews, documentation, integration, testing, defect management, and code analysis.
• Ensure components meet requirements and design specs and are feature complete.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement OS components, software tools, and utilities.
• Determine system software design requirements and monitor improvements for efficiency.
• Create software engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
