Job summary

Spyro Soft is seeking a Senior or Regular C++ Qt Developer to join a project focused on video and camera functionality within an automotive infotainment platform. You will work on real-time video processing on Embedded Linux with GStreamer pipelines, integrating with C++ and Qt applications.

The target hardware is ARM64 with Qualcomm SA8295 in a Yocto-based environment, emphasizing low-latency streaming, hardware-accelerated encoding/decoding, and performance tuning for robust multimedia systems.

Qualifications

Must have commercial experience with GStreamer, a key requirement.
Strong C++ development skills and hands-on Qt applications experience.
Experience in Linux environments and designing video pipelines.
English proficiency at least B2/C1; Polish at least B2.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain GStreamer pipelines for video and camera processing.
Integrate multimedia pipelines with C++ and Qt applications.
Develop and optimize live camera streaming using V4L2.
Implement video processing features: cropping, scaling, conversion, and stream splitting.
Work with hardware-accelerated H.264/HEVC encoding/decoding.
Integrate video rendering with Wayland and OpenGL environments.
Analyze, debug, and optimize multimedia performance and latency.
Maintain zero-copy / DMA-BUF data flows.
Troubleshoot complex video processing on embedded platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infotainment solutions.
Contribute to multimedia stack architecture improvements.
