Job summary

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under J-Tech II. A senior Computer Scientist will lead software and systems engineering across full stacks, building high-performance desktop applications with C#/.NET and WPF.

The role embeds with customers, guides architectural decisions, and supports new business through proposals. Strong leadership and data-visualization experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with extensive experience.
• 14+ years of experience for a Bachelor path; 10+ years for a Master’s; 8+ years for a PhD.
• Strong C#/.NET and WPF desktop app development experience.
• Experience with async/await, parallelism, and SOLID OO design.
• Experience with SQL, LINQ, and Git/data repositories.
• Experience in government/defense/aerospace or data analysis is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead, architect, or senior advisor on multiple projects.
• Develop and modernize tools; improve application performance.
• Handle data ingestion, databases, APIs, processing, business logic, and UI/UX.
• Represent JT4 to customers and co-contractors; lead proposals.
• Travel to remote company work locations may be required.
