The role drives EF Core data modeling against PostgreSQL, defines architecture, and enforces coding standards for a production-grade platform on AWS. You will mentor teams, design service layers, and ensure functional equivalence to legacy logic while optimizing for the nightly batch window.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of professional C#/.NET software engineering
• Senior/lead responsibilities experience
• Expert-level EF Core skills
• Strong PostgreSQL relational database skills
• AWS experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Refactor COBOL-derived C# into idiomatic, maintainable .NET
• Design and implement service layers, domain models, and APIs (ASP.NET Core Web API)
• Refactor legacy batch/procedural logic for correctness and testability
• Optimize performance to meet nightly batch window and ensure production-grade quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders to preserve business logic and data semantics
