Job summary

Wissen Technology seeks a highly driven technologist to join our fast-paced, collaborative team in Alpharetta. You will design and develop Java-based applications, work across the C/C++/Java stack, and mentor peers while delivering high-quality software solutions.

You should have 5+ years in C/C++, Python and Java, with Oracle/Sybase DB experience, and be adept in Scrum/Agile practices. We offer hybrid work, strong benefits, and growth opportunities within a globally respected tech consultancy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in C, C++, Python, Oracle / Sybase.
• Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
• Strong knowledge of responsive design/development.
• Proficient with Git and Bitbucket.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, Sybase).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMO, Development, Product Management, Business and Technical Operations, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, Networks and Architecture teams.
• Design and develop Java-based applications.
• Perform development, maintenance, fixes and enhancements to meet requirements.
• Draft and review architectural diagrams, specifications and design documents.
• Work with C, C++, Java, Linux/Unix and SOA stacks and explore new technologies.
• Document requirements, designs, resolutions, estimates, and tests.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and regulatory concerns.
• Mentor other software developers.
