Job summary

Equifax seeks a senior Software Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to design, develop, and operate high-scale applications across the full stack. You will apply modern practices like serverless, microservices, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code while collaborating with globally distributed teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of software engineering experience, deep cloud know-how (GCP/AWS/Azure), and strong Java/SpringBoot skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years experience with Cloud technology: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• 5+ years experience designing and developing microservices using Java, SpringBoot, GCP SDKs, GKE/Kubernetes.
• Experience building and maintaining moderately-complex data pipelines.
• Experience designing and implementing moderately complex data models and optimization for performance.
• Advanced Git usage and CI/CD integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate high scale applications across the full engineering stack.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
• Apply modern software development practices (serverless computing, microservices, CI/CD, infra-as-code).
• Collaborate across teams to integrate systems with internal tools and Data Fabric.
• Contribute to technology roadmap and architecture discussions in a distributed team.
• Stay up-to-date with GCP and related technologies, propose new solutions.
• Implement security best practices in pipelines and infrastructure.
