Job summary

ASD seeks a Senior Software Engineer to support ground solutions in a SCIF in Redondo Beach, CA. You will work on C++ software across multiple subsystems within an agile IPT, designing, coding, and testing new capabilities for mission-focused software used on CONUS/OCONUS sites.

Qualifications include a STEM degree with 5–8 years of experience, advanced C++ skills, and the ability to obtain SCI. On-site work in a restricted facility and active SSBI/SCI eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in a STEM field with related SW experience or equivalent.
• Strong C++ OO programming and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with RHEL, Linux tooling and source control (Git).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C++ software in a fast-paced agile team.
• Design, code, and unit test new software capabilities.
• Collaborate with SMEs and engineers across subsystems.
• Troubleshoot issues and turn over fixes for DRs.
