CoStar Group’s Apartments.com team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (C#/Databases) in Irvine, CA. You will influence multiple web products and work on high-visibility applications used by millions of users.

The role emphasizes OO design, testing, and database expertise within a collaborative, on-site team. The position is located in Irvine with a 4 days onsite / 1 day WFH arrangement, offering a competitive salary and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of production development experience with C#/.NET.
• Experience in relational database design and performance tuning.
• Proven track record building and launching products and platforms.
• Experience mentoring developers and driving team consensus.
• Strong unit, performance, and automation testing background.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop using OO design principles and patterns for high reusability.
• Write unit-testable software with C# and .NET.
• Understand product architecture and contribute to the platform.
• Develop DB stored procedures and SQL scripts/ETL to meet standards.
• Drive agile/scrum practices within teams and foster collaboration.
• Evaluate emerging tech to strengthen the platform.
