HBK – Hottinger Brüel & Kjær is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join the Durability Centre of Excellence in the UK. You will design, develop, and optimize high‑quality C++ software, lead architecture discussions, and mentor junior engineers in an agile environment.

In this role you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, deliver scalable solutions, and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proven delivery of software using the Qt framework.
• Experience with multithreaded C++ (C++11/14/17+).
• Familiar with secure coding practices.
• Experience in SAFE, Agile/Scrum teams.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and maintain C++ applications and libraries.
• Lead and participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Optimize software for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to CI, deployment, and DevOps practices.
