Job summary

HORIBA is seeking a Software Engineer III to design, develop, test, and maintain Windows desktop applications and system software. You will work with C/C++, Qt, and C# .NET on hardware-enabled products.

The role involves collaborating with software, hardware, and QA teams across the product lifecycle to deliver high-performance solutions. A 5+ year background in software development and strong debugging skills are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency in C/C++, Qt Framework, and C# / .NET.
Experience developing Windows desktop applications with hardware interfaces.
Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain desktop applications using C/C++, Qt, and C# .NET on Windows.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Develop intuitive user interfaces with Qt and .NET technologies.
Write clean, documented code following standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot defects and performance issues; support hardware integration.
