BairesDev is seeking a senior Software Engineer (C++ / CPU Internals) to design and optimize core C++ systems with SIMD optimization and cache-friendly data structures.

You will analyze performance, refine data layouts, and leverage profiling to reduce memory stalls and improve execution efficiency. This role emphasizes advanced English, remote collaboration, and impactful, globally distributed projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering focusing on systems programming and low-level C++.
• Deep understanding of CPU architecture, SIMD, and cache hierarchy optimization.
• Proven expertise in optimizing code for branch prediction and instruction-level parallelism.
• Hands-on experience with hardware-level performance tuning and profiling.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core C++ systems optimized for SIMD vectorization and instruction-level parallelism.
• Analyze and refine data structures to maximize cache efficiency and minimize memory stalls.
• Use low-level profiling tools to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks at the CPU level.
• Optimize branch prediction behavior and execution paths for smooth pipeline flow.
• Develop zero-cost abstractions using compile-time techniques without sacrificing runtime speed.
