Job summary

DXC Technology Company seeks a Senior C Linux Application and Systems Technical Lead to guide a major enterprise modernization initiative. You will own diagnostics, performance tuning, and governance across large C/C++ codebases, including legacy/mainframe migrations to Linux and cloud environments.

You will act as a senior escalation point, mentoring teams, driving tech debt remediation, and ensuring operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on C/C++ and legacy enterprise application expertise (preferably Mainframe migrations).
• Ability to troubleshoot large, mature C codebases and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot large, mature C/C++ codebases and guide design decisions.
• Lead code-review and PR-review processes with authority to challenge design choices.
• Diagnose runtime, memory and threading issues and perform root-cause analysis across logs and transactions.
• Provide governance for builds/releases and remediation of technical debt.
• Mentor SMEs and coordinate developers to reach technical decisions.
