Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent industry experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience in modern C++ (C++11 and later) within production systems.
• Proven background in low-latency, high-throughput system design.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, lock-free programming and memory management.
• Practical experience with network protocols, message queues, or stream processing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Linux toolchains, build systems and performance profilers.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, containerisation and observability platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of C++ services that ingest and process telemetry and event data in real time.
• Drive performance tuning, memory management and profiling to meet throughput and latency objectives.
• Collaborate with product owners and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain robust unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers and promote strong engineering practices.
• Own deployment pipelines and assist with monitoring, alerting and incident response.
