Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience building high-throughput systems.
• Proficient in Python, Go, or Scala.
• Experience with distributed microservices and backend data pipelines.
• Strong SQL database design and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and deployment systems.
• Solid Linux, networking, and monitoring fundamentals.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for core data infrastructure and resolve data-processing issues.
• Engineer and refine data platform components for throughput and high availability.
• Design automated utilities to streamline diagnostic workflows and reduce manual work.
• Perform code-level debugging in distributed environments to remove bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with engineering, support, and partners to translate requirements into scalable software.
• Lead pre-launch testing, deployment validation, and live event monitoring.
