Stored Energy Systems (SENS) in Longmont, CO, seeks a Buyer II to independently manage a portfolio of complex suppliers and drive strategic sourcing decisions. You will balance cost, quality, delivery, and inventory while collaborating with engineering and planning teams to support manufacturing requirements.

The role emphasizes supplier performance, negotiations, and cross-functional coordination, with eligibility for an annual bonus based on performance and company results.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, operations management, engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of progressive purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, supplier performance management, engineering change coordination, and ERP/MRP-driven manufacturing operations.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of complex and business-critical suppliers to ensure material availability and reliable operational performance.
• Evaluate purchasing alternatives and make decisions within delegated authority balancing cost, quality, delivery, inventory, supplier capability, and risk.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships that improve responsiveness, delivery reliability, quality, and issue resolution.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and drive corrective actions to improve results.
• Analyze demand, inventory, lead times, and capacity to develop purchasing strategies that support production and minimize inventory risk.
• Coordinate engineering changes, product transitions, and supplier implementations with cross-functional teams.
