Stored Energy Systems (SENS) is seeking a Supply Chain Buyer III in Longmont, CO. You will lead senior-level supplier relationships, optimize inventory, and guide cross-functional purchasing initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include strategic supplier selection, negotiations, and improving ERP/MRP-driven operations. A bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience are preferred, with strong Excel and ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 additional years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of progressive purchasing/procurement or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Advanced knowledge of purchasing, inventory optimization, supplier performance, and ERP/MRP-driven operations.
• ERP/MRP systems such as Infor CSI/Syteline, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the most complex supplier relationships with high risk and impact.
• Prioritize purchasing activities and resolve complex supply and inventory issues.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and corrective action plans.
• Develop inventory and purchasing strategies balancing continuity, working capital, and risk.
• Coordinate cross-functional recovery for material shortages and disruptions.
• Lead departmental priorities during peak demand or manager absence.
• Mentor purchasing team members and reinforce standardized processes.
• Drive RFQs, market evaluations, and supplier negotiations with the Sourcing Team.
• Translate sourcing strategies into operational execution and ERP parameters.
• Lead process improvements, ERP/MRP enhancements, and data quality initiatives.
• Provide insights on supplier risk, inventory, cost, and performance to leadership.
