Job summary

Stored Energy Systems (SENS) in Longmont, CO is seeking a Buyer III who will lead complex supplier relationships and strategic purchasing initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will drive inventory optimization, cost control, and cross-functional collaboration with the Sourcing Team.

The role requires 4+ years in purchasing in manufacturing, strong ERP/MRP knowledge, and excellent negotiation and leadership abilities. A Bachelor’s degree is expected or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the most complex supplier relationships with high risk or impact.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and recovery strategies for critical suppliers.
• Develop inventory and purchasing strategies balancing continuity, lead time, and working capital.
• Coordinate purchasing priorities during high demand or manager absence.
• Mentor purchasing team members and support onboarding of staff.
• Translate sourcing strategies into operational execution including supplier transitions.
