Job summary

Adventurer Manufacturing is seeking a Senior Buyer to expand our procurement team in a fast-paced, family-run environment. You will manage supplier relationships, lead NPI sourcing with engineering, and run MRP-driven purchasing to ensure material availability for production while pursuing cost-saving opportunities and KPI improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience buying/sourcing in a discrete manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or BA in related field or equivalent number of years of experience (10-years or more).
• RV industry experience preferred.
• Previous experience with Infor Syteline preferred.
• APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior team members and manage vendor partnerships.
• Support NPI by sourcing components with engineering for quality, price, and lead time.
• Lead strategic purchasing projects as directed by management.
• Create and maintain vendor research for lead time, availability, quality, and cost.
• Review SKUs annually to ensure optimal vendor selection.
• Run daily MRP reports and place/expedite POs to ensure material availability.
• Resolve material shortages to prevent production disruptions.
