Core & Main, a leader in infrastructure materials, is seeking a Purchasing professional based in the U.S. to manage key materials and supplier relationships, optimizing price, delivery, and terms according to established policies.

You will review requisitions, solicit quotes, select suppliers, issue POs, and monitor performance, contributing to cost efficiency and reliable supply for municipal and contractor customers nationwide.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline; 5–8 years experience (certification in some areas)
• MS/MA in related field; 3–5 years experience (certification in some areas)

Responsibilities

• Reviews and approves purchase requisitions.
• Identifies suppliers and issues RFQs.
• Analyzes and selects suppliers; issues purchase orders.
• Manages supplier relationships to meet cost and inventory goals.
• Tracks industry trends and benchmarks against the business.
• Supports production/new product introductions as a materials resource.
