Job summary

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. - KUAS division is seeking a Buyer to support sourcing, bidding, negotiation, and purchase order management for assigned commodities, interfacing with Engineering and Production Planners to meet delivery and quality requirements.

Responsibilities span supplier relationship management, bid procurement, supplier data maintenance, and ERP data handling, with opportunities for growth across Buyer levels and potential security clearance.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a related field is required or preferred.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing environments is beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Supports development and maintenance of supplier relationships to meet schedules and pricing.
• Obtains competitive bids and sources of supply.
• Maintains supplier records and ERP data related to suppliers.
• Supports supplier performance reviews and procurement transactions.
• Assists senior buyers and participates in internal/supplier meetings.
• Follows QMS procedures and identifies process improvements.
