Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically requires 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 2 years and a Master’s degree, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience in procurement and compliance is expected.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR guidance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze purchase requisitions.
• Develop RFQs using specs, SOW, or other requirements.
• Prepare bid packages, evaluate proposals and quotes, negotiate PO terms.
• Ensure procurement data integrity in the system.
• Administer POs for on-time delivery and compliance.
• Monitor PO performance and compliance with laws and policies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage risk.
• Provide FAR/DFAR guidance to junior staff.
• Assist in resolving complex procurement issues.
• Generate procurement and compliance reports as needed.
• Support continuous improvement of policies and training materials.
