Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Senior Buyer responsible for all commercial aspects of purchasing and supply chain management. The role includes supplier performance, cost negotiations, and sourcing of materials/parts, with supervisory responsibilities and oversight of larger spend.

Onsite position in Pennsylvania with a Monday–Friday schedule. The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA in relevant field and 8+ years in procurement, with strong negotiation and leadership capabilities to

Qualifications

8+ years’ experience in Procurement, Logistics, and Inventory.
Strong supervisory experience.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
High level of computer literacy including MS Office & Outlook.
Experience with accounting and inventory software, internet, order processing systems, and manufacturing software.
Proven abilities in negotiation, team building, innovation, and change management.
Professional certifications (APICS, CPIM, etc) are a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day relationships with key suppliers and coordinate demand, delivery changes, and backorders.
Develop knowledge of suppliers and capabilities within assigned categories.
Create category sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
Identify and prioritize key business opportunities.
Ensure efficient materials flow and apply best practices.
