Job summary

Pinnacle Technology in Irvine, CA seeks an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end purchasing activities for aerospace manufacturing. You will write specifications, evaluate bids, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with government regulations while delivering high quality at best value, on time.

Strong knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and demand forecasting is required, with a proven ability to drive procurement projects to completion.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in procurement or related field.
Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
Ability to write specifications, prepare bid documents, handle bidding and analyze bid results.
Strong experience negotiating license contracts with a track record of success.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

Use expertise for purchasing activities including pricing and negotiating with suppliers to achieve highest quality at best value.
Perform complex purchasing activities while ensuring compliance with government laws and regulations.
Negotiate terms (price, delivery, payment) with suppliers and issue purchase orders efficiently.
Establish source selection criteria for evaluating quotations and bids.
Evaluate quotations and decide on purchase awards; document contracts per policy.
Ensure formal contractual documentation complies with corporate and government requirements.
