Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Senior Buyer to secure subcontracted components, materials, and services, balancing cost, quality, and delivery. You will own a supplier portfolio and support commercial teams with input on procurement for customer projects.

You will collaborate with supply chain, operations, and suppliers to improve profitability and on-time delivery, leveraging your sourcing expertise and negotiation skills to meet Flowserve's commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Experience negotiating supplier pricing and terms.
• Familiarity with supplier evaluation and development processes.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Execute just-in-time purchasing to meet manufacturing and project needs.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, delivery, and conditions with suppliers.
• Support quotations with competitive supplier pricing and delivery data.
• Manage purchase orders and follow up to ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop supplier agreements to improve pricing, delivery, and reliability.
• Evaluate supplier performance and coordinate corrective actions.
• Resolve import, logistics, and delivery issues for local service centers.
• Review inventory to maintain material availability and optimize stock.
• Apply technical and quality requirements to sourcing for project/spec compliance.
• Maintain purchasing records and use ERP/MRP for planning and reporting.
