Job summary

Lab37 Robotics is seeking a Senior Buyer – Manufacturing to own day-to-day purchasing for production operations, ensuring timely material availability and proactive supplier management. You will work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Inventory, and Program Management to align purchasing with production needs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in purchasing within robotics or complex manufacturing, with BOM reading skills, ERP/MRP proficiency, and strong negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing/procurement in a manufacturing or robotics environment.
• Experience reading BOMs, engineering drawings, and technical specs.
• Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own purchasing execution for production operations, including RFQs, POs, supplier acknowledgments, delivery management, and Expedites.
• Develop and improve purchasing processes, supplier management practices, and operational tools.
• Procure a broad range of mechanical and electrical components used in robotic systems.
• Translate BOM demand and production schedules into timely purchasing actions.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance across delivery, quality, cost, and lead time.
• Identify material shortages and supply risks, communicating impacts and recovery plans.
