Hydrogen Group is seeking a Senior Buyer/Planner for a Life Sciences/CDMO client in Costa Mesa, CA. The role centers on procurement, material planning, supplier relationships, and inventory management to keep GMP drug product manufacturing on schedule.

You will develop demand forecasts, manage supplier agreements, and partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, and Project Management to mitigate supply risks. This on-site role offers $100-120K annually.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing support within life sciences.
• Experience in CDMO or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with GMP requirements; aseptic manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, inventory management, and supplier relations.
• Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead procurement and material planning for raw materials, components, packaging, and manufacturing supplies.
• Develop demand forecasts and purchasing plans aligned with production schedules and client requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships, purchasing agreements, pricing negotiations, and vendor performance.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, and Project Management teams to address material and supply chain risks.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, material flow, expiration tracking, and warehouse coordination.
• Support vendor qualification, incoming material requirements, and GMP compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize processes.
