Job summary

Pyramid Laboratories Inc, located in Costa Mesa, CA, seeks a Senior Buyer/Planner to coordinate procurement and material planning for GMP drug product manufacturing. You will work across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in supply chain/manufacturing within a CDMO, with strong vendor management, forecasting, and contract negotiation skills. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain/Manufacturing or related functions in Life Sciences
• Experience in aseptic Manufacturing preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, or life sciences
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite, ERP and MRP Systems
• Proven track record of planning/procurement and vendor management in a CDMO

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain an integrated planning process aligning leadership and Supply Chain with a demand plan.
• Identify and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide purchasing support and ensure vendor performance.
• Utilize supply management software to develop long- and short-term supply chain strategies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and lean methodologies to reduce costs.
• Manage contractual arrangements with suppliers to obtain best pricing.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Project Management to develop demand forecasts and production plans.
• Monitor delivery dates and trace shipments; address undelivered goods.
• Manage material flow, inventory control, and daily warehouse activities.
