DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Buyer to own a product category, develop assortments, and manage vendor relationships across omni-channel platforms. You will create strategies, oversee pricing, and ensure assortments align with market trends and financial goals.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in marketing or merchandising and 7–10 years of leadership experience in merchandising or buying, with a track record in driving sales, margins, and turn.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, merchandising or business related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in a leadership/management role.

Responsabilidades

• Achieve Sales, Margin and Turnover plans by creating, driving and ensuring execution of the merchandising strategies.
• Build Visual Merchandising Strategy and eCommerce experience that will support the sales, margin and turn objectives.
• Build, create & manage merchandise assortments by category through existing and new brands that align with market and consumer trends.
• Assortment creation includes selecting and purchasing merchandise considering type, quality, source, timing, delivery, mix and promotions.
• Managing assortments includes continual evaluation of pricing, demand, forecasting and product flow.
• Analyze economic, financial, market, competitive data to assess current strategies or identify future opportunities.
• Leverage vendor relationships to gain knowledge and data as it pertains to product category.
• Shop national and global stores to identify trends and translate findings into executable product plans.
