SignResource in Bell Gardens, CA is seeking a Buyer to manage the manufacturing supply chain and vendor relationships. You will monitor material costs, support supplier scheduling, and drive continuous improvement with suppliers.

The role requires a strong background in metal-working purchasing, a Bachelor’s in a related field, and the ability to travel up to 10% to Royston Group plants and customers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Inventory Management, including cycle counting and Kanbans.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and detail-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% between plants/vendors/customers.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate contract performance and identify corrective actions.
• Manage material costs to meet targets and reduce scrap.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, and suppliers.
• Attend industry events to stay informed on market trends.
• Issue purchase orders and support supplier payment inquiries.
• Monitor inventory and ensure adequate manufacturing schedules.
