Job summary

BCforward is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer / Procurement Specialist in Jupiter, FL to manage purchasing, negotiate contracts, and ensure on-time delivery of materials for a manufacturing environment.

The candidate will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, maintaining procurement documentation and compliance while supporting vendor management and cost analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of procurement, purchasing, or sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience with contracts, purchase orders, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for materials, components, and services.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Create and manage purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Perform cost and price analysis and support supplier selection.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
