Job summary

Paleovalley in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Senior Buyer to own end-to-end purchasing for ingredients, raw materials, and packaging for its growing manufacturing operation.

You will manage supplier relationships, improve inventory accuracy, and partner with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to meet production schedules while controlling cost. This on-site role offers hybrid flexibility and a mission-driven company focused on real food and regenerative sourcing.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in purchasing/procurement in manufacturing.
• Experience with direct-material purchasing and supplier performance management.
• Knowledge of SQF/HACCP or related food safety supplier requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end purchasing for materials and packaging, from sourcing to PO execution.
• Build, qualify, and manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and monitor lead times and quality.
• Create and manage POs in Acumatica, track pricing, quantities, and delivery dates.
• Monitor inventory positions and safety stock to prevent shortages and excess.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to align purchasing with production plans.
• Resolve supplier issues, identify backup sources, and maintain supplier approvals.
