Job summary

Century A/C Supply, part of Rheem Manufacturing Company, seeks a Professional Buyer III to manage stocking levels at multiple Houston locations and maintain strong vendor relationships. You will prepare requisitions, verify orders, and resolve discrepancies while monitoring inventory, pricing, and supplier performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in procurement, strong ERP/MS Office skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in procurement and/or purchasing.
Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to suppliers and other employees.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of ERP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Maintain stocking levels across locations and manage supplier relationships.
Prepare purchasing requisitions and verify orders; resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
Run and analyze purchasing reports and monitor inventory and sales records.
Ensure materials, equipment, and supplies are ordered and delivered timely.
Lead process and ERP improvements in a collaborative environment.
