Collectors is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead procurement of injection molded components, raw materials, and services, supporting East Coast and international operations. You will drive strategic sourcing, supplier performance, cost, quality, and delivery outcomes across facilities.

Travel up to 10% is possible, with onsite work at Santa Ana, CA HQ or Jersey City, NJ, or Plano, TX. You will partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain to ensure readiness from tooling through production

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of BOM and production scheduling.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience managing tooling programs and new product introductions.
• Excellent mathematics, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating pricing and supplier agreements.
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities across sites.

Aufgaben

• Lead sourcing activities for injection molded components, including RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance against cost, quality, and delivery expectations.
• Execute cost reduction initiatives through resourcing, should-cost analysis, and commercial negotiations.
• Partner with engineering and operations on new tooling and part development, ensuring manufacturability and scalability.
• Project manage new part introductions and product launches from sourcing through production readiness.
• Coordinate across multiple facilities to align sourcing strategies and supplier utilization.
• Monitor supplier capacity, risk, and continuity planning to support operational stability.
• Maintain accurate system data (pricing, lead times, MOQs) to support planning and financial accuracy.
• Support procurement reporting, spend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production planners and inventory control to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
• Work closely with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure materials meet specifications and compliance.
• Maintain purchasing records in ERP systems and generate reports for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements; maintain audit documentation.
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and supplier development efforts.
