Putzmeister America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead material sourcing for its U.S. operations and to support sourcing activities in Brazil. The role requires strong negotiation, supplier management, and data analysis skills, with experience in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will read technical drawings, work with ERP systems such as SAP, and communicate effectively across borders. International travel is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement or purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with global suppliers and international teams.
• Strong contract negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings; fluent with the metric system.
• Advanced data analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Proficiency with SAP and ERP systems.
• Excellent English communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead material sourcing for Putzmeister America and support sourcing activities in Brazil.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and conditions.
• Define, monitor, and report supplier performance using KPIs and scorecards.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, finance, and logistics to forecast demand and ensure continuity of supply.
• Issue and maintain purchase orders in SAP/MRP for samples or long-term contracts.
