Job summary

Miller Zell Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, cost estimation and coordination of manufacturing for client projects with Miller Zell partners.

You will negotiate quotes with domestic and international vendors, issue purchase orders, manage bills of materials, and monitor costs to drive procurement efficiency and margins. The role requires travel to suppliers, strong communication, and collaboration with design development and project teams to solve production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience.
• 3–10 years in purchasing, negotiating and estimating; experience in POP/store fixtures, display or custom fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read store layouts and engineering/architectural drawings; basic inventory control knowledge.
• Strong communication and coordination skills; travel to foreign countries may be required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and obtain quotes from domestic and international vendors, prepare cost estimates, issue purchase orders and communicate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with procurement on sourcing best practices and manage information.
• Purchase activities may cover North America and international vendors.
• Lead vendor analysis and develop vendor strategies in conjunction with cross-functional teams.
• Work with designers and vendors to resolve design, installation and production issues and suggest value engineering.
• Identify and qualify new vendors for production capabilities and quality control.
• Monitor costs and pursue cost reductions to improve margins.
• Prepare and issue BOMs, work orders and change orders; ensure on-time delivery.
