Job summary

Incap US is seeking a Senior Buyer to ensure timely, cost‑effective procurement of materials and to support production, engineering, and program management. The role emphasizes supplier performance, negotiation, and proactive cost and lead‑time optimization in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship experience, with a focus on cost control, inventory optimization, and cross‑functional collaboration within EMS/ECM environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Management, or related field.
• 2–5 years purchasing experience, preferably in electronics manufacturing or EMS/ECM.
• Excellent computer skills including typing and the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on‑time delivery, cost‑effective procurement, and supplier performance while working with cross-functional teams.
• Purchase electronic components, PCBs, mechanical parts, and MRO items to support production.
• Source alternative components and suppliers to resolve shortages and communicate with Program Managers.
• Maintain accurate cost data, purchase orders, and supplier information.
• Drive continuous improvement with suppliers through negotiation and audits.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost, lead time, and on‑site inventory.
• Coordinate with Materials to maintain workflow and resolve inventory issues.
• Coordinate with Accounting on invoicing and inventory concerns.
• Provide training on established processes and best practices.
• Performs related duties as required.
