Job summary

Antenna Research Associates, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Buyer to lead procurement for production schedules, programs, and operations.

You will manage end-to-end material supply, demand planning, MRP execution, supplier management, and inventory optimization to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals. The role requires U.S. citizenship, collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, program management, logistics, and finance, and strong negotiation and supplier-management skills to mitigate risks and

Qualifications

5–7+ years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain in manufacturing; aerospace/DoD experience preferred.
Experience managing procurement and material planning functions.
Experience with Costpoint ERP system.
Knowledge of BOMs, engineering docs, and electro-mechanical components.
FAR/DFAR knowledge for federal acquisitions.
Experience with supplier performance management and contract negotiation.
Strong inventory control, demand planning, and risk mitigation.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end procurement for assigned programs and production requirements.
Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to ensure material availability and schedule adherence.
Review MRP outputs and resolve shortages, reschedules, and supply issues.
Develop supplier relationships and improve cost, quality, and delivery.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements.
Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate logistics activities including shipment tracking and freight management.
Maintain procurement data within ERP/MRP systems.
Track KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with ITAR, FAR/DFAR and regulations.
Mentor junior procurement and planning staff.
