Samsung Semiconductor seeks a Senior Buyer to define and manage procurement strategies for key supplies, equipment, and end-user items. You will maintain supplier contracts, optimize terms, and report performance to leadership in a fast-paced, global setting.

The role requires building relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contract types, and driving cost and performance improvements. Onsite work in San Jose, CA is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Construction Management or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in construction, capital projects, or facilities procurement is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of construction contract types, subcontract terms, bonding and insurance requirements, lien waivers, and change order management.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Buyer on our team, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and managing many aspects of our procurement strategy. From working with our suppliers to effectively purchase key supplies, materials, and end user items to managing the on‑hand supply volume, quality, and of course costs. You will operate in a fast‑paced, globally leading environment, supported by a small team of experts. You will leverage your ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and organize requirements and manage interactions with them and our suppliers. Among your tasks will be the implementation of comprehensive agreements with suppliers outlining all commercial, capacity, and technical aspects.

This position will maintain ownership of supplier contracts, commercial terms and price performance and reporting to our leadership teams.

Daily onsite presence at our San Jose, CA 5 days per week in alignment with our Flexible Work policy

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Construction Management or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in construction, capital projects, or facilities procurement.
• Strong working knowledge of construction contract types, subcontract terms, bonding and insurance requirements, lien waivers, and change order management.
