Job summary

Career Legal, a leading CPA and business advisory firm, seeks a Business Valuation Manager to join its Valuation Services team in Providence, RI. You will lead complex engagements and work closely with tax, accounting and advisory professionals to deliver high-quality valuations.

The role requires 5+ years in business valuation, CPA, and strong Excel/financial modelling skills. You will prepare valuations, assist with tax planning, and provide clients with strategic insights and robust reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 5+ years of business valuation experience in public accounting or advisory.
• CPA required; ABV/ASA/CVA/CFA preferred.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and report writing.
• Experience with tax and accounting tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare valuations of closely held businesses and interests.
• Advise on tax planning and transaction structuring.
• Collaborate with tax, accounting and advisory teams.
• Perform 409A valuations and PPAs.
• Support financial reporting valuations and analyses.
• Prepare detailed valuation reports and client deliverables.
